Power RGB LED Strip with Freetronics Eleven (Same as Uno)

So i bought this 12V RGB LED Strip from jaycar (http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=ZD0466&keywords=LED+SMD+Module&form=KEYWORD)

When i power it by 12V from a battery, the lights a bright and can be changed depending on which lead i power (RGB), but am at a lost of how to power through my eleven, and also to be the brightness or as close to as what i can get when plugged into 12V Battery. Need help as this is for my year 12 project :)

Also, can the Eleven (Uno) power more then one standard LED at a time, and if so how??

Looks similar to the RGB strips at Adafruit, check out the tutorial on driving them: http://www.ladyada.net/products/rgbledstrip/

If you want to drive the channels with digital output pins, make sure to pull down the MOSFETs' base pins with 10K or so resistors, or else they'll stay on. You don't need to if you're driving them with PWM pins though.
