Power Saving (if or delay?)

Hi, I am new to the forum. sorry for my bad English.
I have a question.
How to save more energy ?.
With a "IF" expecting a variable or using "delay" and checking every 5 minutes the same "IF"?
Or the current spending is the same?

It doesn't matter. Since the core is executing commands either way, the "energy cost" is the same. To save power, you need to use the sleep commands to shut off unused circuitry. More power saving can probably be found outside the processor core.
