I just received the board recently and am wondering what the power supply must be... 12V, 16V?

I think anything from 9 to about 24 V should be fine.

As a matter of fact, the boards run on DC between 6-25 and on AC between 7-20 (we have a huge selection of different supplies working fine)

The only thing to remember is that the core of the shaft in the connector has to be the possitive one when using DC (respect the polarity)
