Power up esp32 with lithium ion

Hi. How do I power my esp32 with single lithium ion 18650 battery. Now I have a single battery and shielded battery v3 (1 slot battery). Can I use the 3V 1A and connect like picture below? In between of battery and breadboard, there is switch button.

Hi @aidid

It would probably be easier for you to use an ESP32 that supports the connection & charging of a 3.7V external lithium battery.
Like this example You'll find that many ESP32's on the market now support the connection & charging of a 3.7V external lithium battery.

HTH?

I would suggest this board or this board. Both of them will have all the recharge circuitry built into them too so you don't need to remove the battery to charge them. I've only used two products from DF Robot and I was not happy with either of them.
