Powerboost 500 from Adafruit

Hi there, I'll be using one of these powerboost products to power an arduino micro with a 3.7v lithium ion battery, and have a few questions as I haven't used a booster before.

I don't want to use this to charge an iphone or anything. What I would like to know is how to make this simply power my micro by connecting to 5v and ground.

 1. Where do my two wires going to 5v and ground get soldered onto the Powerboost?
 2. Can this be used to get an input to charge the batteries, or does the batteries only supply an output to charge an iphone etc?

If no to 2, how can i attach something to charge the batteries when they get low?

Thank you all

I've never heard of that thing....

But, here are the pinouts.

The battery connection is separate. The battery connection works 'both ways". The battery gets charged or can supply power without changing the battery connection.

Although there are many possible uses for this thing, it looks like the idea is to make project that works like an cell phone... You can charge your Arduino device by plugging-into your computer's USB port. (Or, you can use it to charge an phone while discharging the attached battery.

No need to assume. Adafruit's forum is as good as, if not better than, this one, but is limited to only their products. Many (most?) questions are answered by their own techies.
