Im trying to find an appropriate power supply to meet the 5M and 10M 5050 RGB LED strips that I have set up in my bed room. The LED kit, Extra LED, and Music controller are off of amazon.
Just the other day my lights stopped working, I figured it was the cheap controller I bought. However, I received my new controller today and found no power. Unfortunately, I realized that my PSU was probably no longer operable and I believe I can attest to the fact that it was a 12v 10a PSU that wasn't powerful enough to supply power to a 10M and 5M strip.
Im trying to find a power supply that will support my set up. I know that 5M consumes 60watts (12v 5a), but Im uncertain if it as simple as me buying a 12v 15a 180watt PSU and hooking it up to my controller to power the two channels that have 5M connected and 10M connected. The area around my room is set up perfect that I dont need to connect the strips together, they each have their own channels into the music controller.
Can some confirm that buying something like this PSU would work. That is I am only powering my controller, and my controller being powered by the PSU will light up the 10m and 5m strips?
Ive attached a picture of my room to get a better idea of how everything is set up.

Your first link clearly shows a 24V power supply...
Were you running both strips off the same supply? 5A is really only enough for the 5M strip and 15M is far too much.
Even 10A isn't really enough. If you turn 15M of those LEDs to 100% white they'll draw 18A of current, you'll need something like a 25A supply for that (don't run PSUs at 100% rating if you want them to last).
10A is twice as much as you had before though, so I'm guessing they weren't at full white very often.
