Powering a Project

What power supply do I need to power up my Arduino project that uses 4 Micro Servo (4.8V) and 2 9V DC motors that use L298N motor driver module

Simply read the data sheets of the components, study them and create an energy balance sheet for the project from the data.

Your power supply voltage needs to match the motor’s rated voltage, in some cases, a lower voltage power supply can be used.

The current requirement of the motor must be accommodated by this supply. i.e. if the motor needs 200mA and your power supply (assume battery) can handle 2,000mAh, your motor should run for ≈10 hours.

Remember that this is an old bipolar device and you will lose 2-3 volts.
