Hello,
I want to power my Arduino Due from a 3.3V voltage regulator.
The chip itself is using 3.3V but somehow the serial communication is not working.
Is this voltage too low to power the whole board?

Thanks, seems like some components on this board require 5V, although the CPU has 3.3V supply voltage.
which component needs 5V?
Seems like the Serial circuits they do not work if just 3.3V supplied. Also the LEDs were quite dark compared to 5V input.
You would think that as the USB serial comms are 5V levels, then that the device providing the serial comms needs a 5V supply.
Check the schematic, it shows the USB serial device connected to a 5V supply.
