Powering ESP32 bike speedometer

Hi. I'm making a bike speedometer with ESP32 and everything is ok. but i don't know how I'm gonna power it. One of challenges is that I should be able to charge it while esp32 is in sleep mode or when it is active and i also want to show battery level on display. I'm using a ESP32 WEMOS LOLIN32 V1.0.0 with a SSD1306 0.96" OLED display and I'm programming it via Arduino IDE 2.3.2

Have you considered adding a generator circuit using a bike lite generator?

Thank you. It helped me a lot.

That's a great Idea but I don't want it to turn off and also the generator output voltage is not good enough for my use case and it would add too much unnecessary complexity to project.
