Powering ESP32 (i Know this is Arduino, but I don't know where else to post)

Basically, I ma powering a Node 32S by its 5v pin from a 5v 10 amp power supply, and the Bluetooth wont turn on, but powering it through a USB from my computer turns it on, but powering the ESP32S through the USB port with the 5v 10 amp power supply doesn't work either. I think there is a current regulator circuit needed because the only way I was able to make it work was to cut a USB extension, put the 5v 10amp power supply to the negative and 5v wires, put a USB to TTL UART Serial CP2102 Converter (USB to TTL UART Serial CP2102 Converter Module Adapter 5Pin - Newegg.com) and use the 5v and grand off of that to power the ESP32s

Simpler terms,
Works

This works but This Doesn't
Doesnt Work

Thanks for the help!

What is the operating voltage of the Node 32S? It appears you pictured an FTDI type of adapter which works. What is the output voltage of that adapter (did you actually measure 5v?) Some of the newer boards use 3.3v instead of 5v. The picture of the Node 32S you posted appears to show an micro USB jack, so does the board work when powered thru that jack?

Srry tom thanks for telling me!

Yes, this board does run on 5v, it has a 5v pin and can be powered through the micro USB jack, but if I take a USB cable and splice it to power the board through the USB and attach the spliced wires to my power supply, the Bluetooth doesn't turn on

last one doesn't work
