Powering Nano board with battery

(deleted)

A Nano needs just over 4V to work properly. So you will need a converter to increase the battery voltage.

You might want to consider to use a 3.3V/8MHz ProMicro; that can work directly from 3.7V.

What are the specs of the motor?
