Powering nrf24lo1+pa

I am new to nfr24, and I was wondering if I can successfully power the "high power" nrf24lo1+pa+lna with 2 AA batteries (3V)?

Robin2, the author of the simple rf24 tutorial sometimes recommends a 2 AA cell battery pack as a power supply for the rf24 radios. So, I think, that it will work since the supply voltage specification for the rf24 is 1.9V-3.6V. 2 AA batteries will supply the necessary current for the radio better than most of the 3.3V regulators on the Arduino boards.

Depends on the type of AA batteries you are using.

There are quite a number of different types, some might work, some might not.

Yes. Here is an example of an nrf24L01 application using the high power module powered by two alkaline AA cells.

The battery life can be years for the transmitter part since it is put into sleep mode when not in use.

Thanks for the help!
