Powering Tower MG 995 Servo

Hi,
I am trying to give 12V DC Power Supply to 2x TowerPro MG995 Servo Motor,
I am not having any idea to do..
Anyone please get me out of this :slight_smile:

The servo is rated for 7.2V maximum. To use a 12V power supply, you need a switching stepdown regulator (6V would be a good choice) capable of easily handling twice the stall current, or 3 Amperes minimum.

But, Do I need to connect the negative terminal to Arduino GND?

All grounds in a circuit need to be connected.

The step down regulator can provide 3 Amperes, as required for two MG995 servos.
