Hi
In my airplane, I'm using the FrSky Receiver D4R-II (http://www.frsky-rc.com/product/pro.php?pro_id=24). But now, I need more than 4 Channels. I can set the RX to CPPM-Mode, what is normaly known as ppm-signal.
I saw two solutions in this forum:
mem: http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,22140.0.html
DuaneB: http://rcarduino.blogspot.ch/2012/11/how-to-read-rc-receiver-ppm-stream.html
Both should work, I think.
My setup in the plane is:
Ch1: Rudder
Ch2: Throttle
Ch3: Aileron
Ch4: Elevator
Ch5: Arkbird Flightcontroller
Ch6: Arkbird Flightcontroller
Planned is to setup it up in an arduino uno on the table to test, later in a arduino mini within the bird.
Which way would be more stable for the planned hardware? Easier to expand to the 6 (or all 8) channels?
Yes, I saw also some solutions with a single chip without arduino, but I have some mini-boards around me...
Finally, I prefere somehow the ServoDecode-Library. But it is from 2008. Are there some Modifications I missed?
Is there any other settings for the FrSky-PPM?
Thanks for some hints!
