Pressure controlled LED fade switch (Transistor problem)

Dear friends,
I follow this guide to make a "Pressure controlled LED fader switch" (video at 6:40).

However, I can not see the effect like that one in the video. My probes need to be connected directly to make the LED shine (Of course, if I do like that it won't shine gradually but immediately and strongly). Here is my circuit (I use 2 220ohm resistors in parallel to make a 110 ohm because I don't have 100ohm resistor), my transistor is 2N3904 M 417.

Might want to try a 100 Kohm resistor

Stripes will be
Brown
Black
Yellow

Yes you need a 100K from base to ground not a 100R.
If you haven't got one remove it completely.
Also just lick your fingers before you touch the wires.
