Prevent a thread from comming up in the unread replies

There is a thread that I posted a reply to some time ago that I am no longer interested in. The problem is that every time someone posts a reply, it comes up in the unread replies and I do not want it too. Is it possible to completely unsubscribe from this thread? The thread in question is here: http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,54857.0

Did you try "Notify"-button? Works for me.

Cheers, Kari

BTW, that thread was locked almost two months ago, how are you still getting? Cheers, Kari

Does not seem to work :( Also the thread does not seem to be locked.

Usually an e-mail notification message has this in it:

Unsubscribe to this topic by clicking here: http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php?action=notify;topic=xxxxx.0

Have you tried clicking that?

I mean the thing in the top right corner:

Hello smeezekitty 0 new messages | unread posts | replies are you looking for our old forum?

The updated threads list often shows that thread.

So when someone posts to this thread, you don't get a message like this to let you unsubscribe?

I would think that clicking on the link I bolded would get you out.

"A reply has been posted to a topic you are watching by smeezekitty.

View the reply at: http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php?topic=85430.new;topicseen#new

Unsubscribe to this topic by clicking here: http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php?action=notify;topic=85430.0

More replies may be posted, but you won't receive any more notifications until you read the topic.

I get

Do you want a notification email if someone replies to this topic?

Yes - No

I clicked no but I have a feeling it won't help.

Did you try "Notify"-button? Works for me.

Cheers, Kari

I get "Are you sure you would liked to enable notification of this topic" I do not get email notifications.

Ok, so click to get notifications, and then unsubsribe so the system can close the loop for you.

Here's another option: Click on Profile, select Notifications and E-mail, find the thread and Unsubscribe from it.

Nono, he wants them to stop showing up in the "replies" link. I do too. Sometimes I'm tempted to just go back and delete my post so the thread stops coming up on http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php?action=unreadreplies

Second that!!! And that idiotic transparent gray! Sometimes important links seems to be under that, you can see, but can't click... Not a big deal, but stupid solution. Two text in one position is not good, I hate Windows7 aero's transparency, but that blurrs the image under, it is better.

Why are these designs ever made? Who is trying to be innovative without a reason?

Cheers, Kari

Thanks maniacbug and Garyp This annoyance is hard to explain and does not seem to have a solution.

So did you try going into your Profile, Select Notifications, and Delete the thread? I don't think I saw your results from that.

It is not present in the list.

Huh. Looks like the options need some way to tie them all together. I've never hit the replies button myself.

Still looking for a solution for this.
