Printer encoder

I salvaged this printer encoder, but cant find any datasheet, can someone help me figure out the pinnout?

It seems the encoder disk is missing. It seems you just have the light gate.

The markings at the coloured wires (both the letters and the Chinese characters) just refer to the wire's colour. I guess two are for the LED, the other two for the detector. Use your multimeter, see what is connected where.

From what i meausured. red is vcc and violet is common, so the other 2 wires are A and B. should i hook up it? im scared of burning it

I mean, should i power it up and see what happends? read with a multimeter the vaule of de outputs

Where is the turning part?

I doubt there's A and B. It won't be a quadrature encoder. You may also need a current limiting resistor.

One pair of wires will be the led, the other pair the detector.
