Printing on a serial monitor the position of a servo

Hello everybody! Just a quick question: Using Serial.print() and Servo.read() how can I print on the serial monitor the last position registered by the servo? (I don't want to hack into my servo by modifying the wires inside) Can someone please help me write the code that I need? Thanks in advance. By the way I'm using an Arduino Uno and the servo that came with the starter kit.

The value returned by Servo.read() will be the last position you told it to go to. So, you should be able to remember that, and be able to print that value.

You could, if you really must, assign the value from Servo.read() to a variable, and then print the variable.

You can print the last position that the servo was commanded to go to but will not know whether it got to that position.

  Serial.println(aServo.read());
