Printing out sketch

When printing a sketch from the IDE, it very often just prints blank pages. I wondered if there was any way to make sure that the whole document prints correctly, I have been copying it into Word, but it loses its formatting (indents and line spacing etc.) Any help on how to overcome this problem would be useful, maybe there is a bug in the IDE itself.

have you tried just opening the files in wordpad?

I have tried opening it with wordpad, but some of the formatting is lost, the printout from the IDE used to be much clearer.

Have you tried something like Notepad++ or a similar programmer's editor or IDE (you might also try Eclipse - I've found it to be an excellent IDE for web development at my work, though I haven't tried the printing operations on it yet)?

Notepad++ is my choice too,

in the language menu you can set that .ino or .pde is C++ so you can get syntax highlighting
