Pro & Cons: Arduino Due.

What are the pros and the cons of an Arduino Due? Thank you.

It's the only one with a DAC as far as I know.

But if you didn't have one and needed one you could get one of these ... https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8736 https://learn.adafruit.com/mcp4725-12-bit-dac-tutorial/using-with-arduino

The 3.3V is a fact, neither a benefit or a detriment. For some sensors, it will be easier. For other sensors, it will be more difficult. It has lots of RAM but you are working 32-bit wide, so that all needs to be considered. The Due can be a USB host or a USB client (useful in some scenarios.) The uC is CAN protocol aware, but support under Arduino is not mature.

The biggest downside is that if you know Arduino, you really do not know the Due. It is a different beast.
