Pro micro bricked - power LED slowly powering on??

Hi guys.

Earlier today I, in someway, bricked or destroyed my pro micro. It will no longer power on, no LEDs are flashing on the board and when plugged into a computer, it will not show up in the ports (The computer can't see the board at all). However, after being plugged in for a short while, the power LED will slowly start to get brighter and brighter.

Have anyone tried something like this before, or is the board just dead?

What did you do to your Arduino?

You should try to compile and run simple test to see if everything is okay after this but I think it won't work as well as the beginning.
