I had a problem trying to use my ATMega32U4 with my USB3 ports (not recognized). Surfing the net (long hours) I solved the driver issue installing this one:
It seems fishy to me because the URL mentions "FTDI", but the Pro Micro has native USB capability, and thus does not use a USB to serial adapter chip like the FTDI chip you find on the Arduino Nano.
Yeah, I know. But i tried it and works... in two diferent PCs...
