Pro Mini, why only 16k flash.

Since I see these are based on the mega328, whats the reasaon behind the limit to 16kb flash?

Also, is anyone doing a pro mini style device with 32kb?

The Arduino Pro Mini is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega168 (datasheet).

It's based on the ]ATmega168 and not the 328.

I think you will find most Pro Mini's available for purchase are '328P based.

Indeed, i keep finding them with reference to a 328, but quoting 16kb flash. I guess its a typo (or more likely a copy/pasto!).
