Pro Mini Will not Upload, Uno Will, Same USB port

Pro-Mini ATMega328 (5V, 16MHz) on /dev/cu.usbserial-AH00SAY2.
Will not upload Blink.
Error message (verbose): “avrdude: usbdev_open(): did not find any USB device “USB”” (see screen shot, below)

FTDI Drivers installed on Mac Mini 2.8GHz Intel Core i5.

When plugged into USB port, Sparkfun 5V FTDI Breakout Red (TX) and green (RX) are on continuously (no flashing) and Pro-Mini red LED on continuously.

However, upload works for Blink to UNO board on same USB port. Yellow light blinks.

Here is an update. Error messages are much shorter. Drivers appear correctly installed on MAC and PC according to an FTDI US Support Engineer. Nevertheless, I am unable to upload “Blink” to my Pro Mini 386 5V 16MHz board using the SparkFun FTDI Basic Breakout Board. The board, shown below, is set to 5V.

I would appreciate guidance. Thank you.
