thanks alot mohammad

Can you run this command and give us the output?

df -h / /mnt/sda1

@mohammad, what is the size of your SD?

did you use the sd card expanding sketch https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/ExpandingYunDiskSpace ... and at the end of the process of formatting your sd card and partitioning did you hit the yun reset button ?

You could use Linux shell script:

wget -O simplesd.sh https://www.dropbox.com/s/jl4oytptxrb6q5u/simplesd.sh?dl=0 --no-check-certificate
/bin/ash simplesd.sh

http://www.ibuyopenwrt.com/index.php/11-yun-compatible/expand-the-storage-at-yun/18-expand-the-storage

yes after change used the file i restart the arduino

@mghazivakili, What size is your SD? There is a limit on the size of the SD you can use with the Arduino Yun.

Also, your english is poor. Please take more time when writing.

Thank You Jesse

Thanks Jesse @jessemonroy650

Size of SD card was 2 Gig,But i could extend the size of Yun but unfortunately after restart always i have first installation, i would like to know, is it normal problem or may be problem came from my SD card ? I mean may be my SD card was burn because also i couldn't format with Windows or linux anymore and after format it says my SD card has been locked !!!!!!!

sorry about my poor english.

@mghazivakili,
#1 do not apologize for your English too much. Many people have poor English in the forums. This is one of 6 forums I am on.

#2 The biggest SD you can use is 32GB. 2Gb is good for final product, but small for development. I would get 8Gb, if you can. Some people use 16Gb. A few use 32Gb.

#3 I had to do my SD more than once to get it right. I used 3 SD, to get to solution. I use 1 SD, I will fix the other 2 when I have time.

#4 The documentation on SD is poor (not good)! This is OpenWrt problem, not Arduino. Arduino documentation if far (below good).

When you format the SD you will have two (2) parts. One part is only good for *nux (Linux/Unix/FreeBSD, etc). The other parts is good for *nux, Windows and OSX (Apple). The other part is so you can exchange files with windows directly.

Right now it looks like you have a working SD, but I don’t have my notes in front of me.

So, I will let SonnyYu answer the question - as to the status of your SD.

Jesse

Dear jessemonroy650 @jessemonroy650 thanks alot about explanation

i would say i thinks my problem came from SD card, today i will change my SD card to 16 Gig, and may i ask you, did you use "https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/ExpandingYunDiskSpace" for formatting and extending the size,i mean this documentation is ok for extending the size of Linux memory ?

i will wait your response because, i scare, i do wrong again and i will burn another SD card :D

thanks alot again Mohammad

Yes, use those instructions.

1 on the Question: Enter the size of the Data Partition in MB: you want to make it a good size. This "partition" is the size that Windows will see. The remainder will go to Linux, so that is the part that Arduino Yun will use for the root file system (/).

This means:

/         - Linux and filesystem
/dev/sda1 - Windows and webserver (Data Partition)

2 I have a way to recover (rescue) old SD and mistakes with SD. I have not had time to post.

Dear Jesse Thanks a lot my problem fixed, for conclusion i had problem with SD card type and if some body has this type of problem he has to change the SD card to another type. Thanks a lot guys,

Best Regard Mohammad
