[Problem] Impossibility to load a sketch on board Mega 2560

Hi all,

I acquired my first Arduino Mega 2560 last week it's a few days I can no loader long.

This message appears :

avrdude: stk500v2_getsync(): timeout communicating with programmer

After 6 x : "avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout".

When I load a sketch remaining shift, I have this message :

"avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00"

I release the ATMega16U2 in DFU mode but the problem is still the same.

Anyone can help me please ?

PS : I have yet to try with IDE Arduino 1.5.7 (bêta).

Its time to get a ICSP and try. I had to flash the bootloader on mine once or twice.

USBASP is a good call.
