Hi there, I am trying to communicate my esp8266-01 with my Mega board. I typed AT but it is not even showing in the scree. Anyone has clue on tis issue??
Does the ESP have the AT firmware installed?
How is the ESP do be fed to the Mega? Post a schematic.

and I am using an empty code as of now, but still showing nothing..
esp--mega
3v3--3v3 RX--TX
RST-- IO0--3V3
EN--3V3 IO2--
TX--RX GND--GND
RST and IO2 are not connected to anything..
I am using esp 8266-01S btw

How would any data be displayed if you are running "empty" code? You would at least have to have code on one device transmit to the other device. Are you wanting to read from the serial monitor and transmit to the other device?
