Hello! I am having a bit of a problem on how to increase the read range of mfrc522, I searched everywhere and found out you need more power to increase the maximum range of mfrc522. But I really dont understand it. I have less knowledge in electronics so any comments, tips or enlightenment would be much appreciated.
Did you read the datasheet?
Typical operating distance in Read/Write mode up to 50 mm depending on the
antenna size and tuning
It states it depends on antenna size and tuning rather than power
I doubt there-s a way to extend the range from up to 2 inches to 2-3feet
