problem to my IR receiver

Good morning
i have a problem with my project. it's a car controlled by IR, the project work, but when I give him input don't recive the second input. When i give the first input the led on the receiver it turns on and when i give the senod input the led on the receiver don't work. The only way for stop the car is remove the corrent at the car and give the second input.
For you what are the problem?HELP PLEASE.

I guess there's something wrong with the controller or the receiver, but you've told us nothing about them. Or more likely there are errors in the code that you haven't shown us.
