problem uploading sketch on arduino nano

:o hello,
i,m a noobie at arduino. i have a arduino nano and uno, i have no problems on uno but i can t upload any sketch on nano. i receive the message :

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

oslo i can t select any port under Tools bar.

Open the Windows Device Manager and then plug in your Nano. Do you see a new device appear?

hi, thanx for your replay, unfortunately i can t see it.

A frequent cause of this problem is using a damaged/defective or charge-only USB cable that doesn't have the data lines connected. Verify the USB cable works for data on another device.

And if it’s a non genuine NANO it may need the ch340 driver installing.
