Problem using RDM6300 w/ Arduino Uno

Hi!

I just ordered an RDM6300 module for my Uno in the hopes that I can use it to read 125kHz tags activating a servo. I followed this guide to do this as this as I am a little bit of a newbie for Arduino and RFID.

However, I am unable to get any reads on my tags from the RDM6300. I don't know if there is something obvious that I am missing. I have a handheld RFID reader/writer and it does indeed verify that the fobs are using 125kHz. The light comes on for the 6300 module so it is getting 5v. I tried a bunch of different data pins on the Uno in case one of them was messed up somehow and still no dice. Is there any reason that these parts wouldn't be compatible that I am missing?
