Problem with Arduino Mega 2560 and Sim900D modem kit

Hello po!
Just want to ask regarding our problem with Arduino and Sim900d modem kit which we bought at E-gizmo here in Philippines for our thesis proposal. The SIM900d kit is compatible with arduino but it cannot read the program.

The problem is, whenever we upload an example program from arduino IDE

This is just the message from the serial monitor


Which is not all in the message of the program is not read in the serial monitor

i need your feedback sir/mam thanks in advance!

I think the TX/RX port and GND of Sim900d is okay . there is a problem in communication with the GSM kit and arduino mega.

If you want any assistance you are going to have to be a bit more forthcoming than that.

In my understanding, the arduino GSM library and the examples are NOT for the SIM900 module.

I have the same problem. I also used MEGA2560 and sim900 purchased from e-gizmo.I used 7.5volts to supply the GSM. First time ko gumamit ng GSM. I used the code downloaded from E-gizmo.
eto yung nagpakita but I did not receive the sms. Please help :slight_smile:
