Problem with Arduino Robot

Hi to all,
I had a strange problem with Arduino Robot.
After some test and download of SW the Arduino is not running anymore. It seam like the battery are to low. Battery voltage when Arduino switched off is about 4.87V and when I switch on it drops down to 2.3V. Try to charge but the charger is dead, it doesn't give no more power anymore (at the beginning it was working). Using another similar charger the ON LED switch ON but the CHARGE LED tell that the battery are allready chaged.
Looking to the PCB instead of the 4 diodes of the B2 graetz-bridge I found 3 diodes and 1 resistor. Very strange. Does somone else has the same problem?

I send you a picture of the resistor instead of the diode!!!

I can't bring the ARDUINO back to run mormally....

How are you connecting charger? Via dc power jack?

There must some short. Check any IC gets heats Up like opamp

Via ower Jack using the AC(DC Power supply that give 9.5Vdc

It seams all ok. With the power supply connected the upper board work properly and the AVR run the code (LCD work properly).
I will check with the thermal camera. But is it not strange this resistor instead of the diode?
