Recently purchased a 2.4 inch MCU friend TFT Touch screen. Used it only once to run the test code. But now some rainbow coloured spots have appeared in the middle of the screen while rest of the screen is clear. It does not cause any problem when I run the test code but when the screen is off these spots are visible on the black screen like spilled oil. Could someone explain what does it mean? Thanks in advance.

TFT panels get upset by liquids. I cleaned the back of a TFT panel with some alcohol to remove the sticky foam mounting tape. The display still "works" but is blotchy from the liquid ingress.
I am not a mobile phone user. But billions exist all over the world. I am sure that many phone screens have met water, alcohol, cleaning chemicals, ...
If the display looks unsightly, replace it with a new TFT panel.

Sorry for that, I needed some urgent help regarding the TFT in case I needed to return it within the warranty period. No one replied to my post and since you were helping everyone with TFT touch screens I thought of sending you a PM.
