Thank u all for your help
I have solved my problem...The problem was in the arduino.
I tried the same program with an arduino mega that I had and it worked perfectly with it.
though I still don't understand that why that arduino is behaving such weirdly albeit a clone, it should not behave like this
A faulty Uno board
I'm very glad that you found the problem ![]()
In #29, @Deltaflyer mentioned using A4 and A5. Did you try that ?
If A4 and A5 also fail, then you could check the board with a magnifier, perhaps there is a bad soldering.
These things sometimes happen when using cheap quality boards and sensors. Sometimes a whole batch of bad products show up at Ebay/Amazon/Aliexpress. There are also counterfeit products. The DS18B20 is often used as a temperature sensor. However, if you buy a DS18B20 at Ebay/Amazon/Aliexpress, then it is almost certain a counterfeit sensor.
Yea I am yet to try using the pins A4 AND A5.
I also have another problem with nrf24l01 so can u help me with it?...if yes then I can make another new topic for it
and does it work on A4 / A5 from the UNO?
nope it still shows the same result
so I think the arduino is faulty
