Hello
I have bought an EasyVR Shield 3.0 and I have connected to arduino. Then I connect all to PC and open EasyVR Commander to program it but appears the follow warning: A "EasyVR Shield/Bridge" device has been found, but the "bridge" software is not responding or it is outdated. You need to manually download the updated "bridge" software to the device (see instructions)"
I saw this, and was going to make a "go read the documentation" post, but then I checked the docs (I have one of those stupid things - two of them actually. One is bricked, and the other one I can't get anything approaching acceptable performance from), and realized they didn't clarify it much.
I think the bridge firmware is just the arduino sketch, but the terminology they use makes that ambiguous.
I'm not a happy owner of these EasyVR modules - aside from the miserable documentation (which I can live with), the recognition is so bad that it's useless
Yes, I saw a lot of question about this problem but I have not found the solution. Answer n.5 is not well written, in the code there isn't any "if" that he tells and the code that he posts is incomplete. I have sent a message to him.
Yes, the documentation is not clear but I must resolve this problem because I have spent a lot for my project (Wall-E Robot).
