Problem with NeoPixel 5mm RGB LED's

Hi,

i have a problem with these LED’s

The first LED works correctly but the second LED is always blue.
See the NeoPixel.jpg Attachment for the circuit on my breadboard.
I use an Arduino UNO

#include <Adafruit_NeoPixel.h>
#define PIN 11
Adafruit_NeoPixel strip = Adafruit_NeoPixel(2, PIN, NEO_RGB + NEO_KHZ800);

void setup() {
  strip.begin();
  strip.show(); // Initialize all pixels to 'off'
}

void loop() {
  strip.setPixelColor(0, strip.Color(255,0,0));
  strip.setPixelColor(1, strip.Color(255,0,0));
  strip.show();
  delay(1000);
}

Where is my mistake?

I have already some NeoPixel products they all works fine.

If you swap the LEDs, does the problem stay with the second LED? If you switch them and now the first one stays blue...maybe it's a bad LED.

Yes that was the problem but the first pack what i open includes 3 LED's with broken data out

That makes sense though. If you have a bad LED, it's probably a manufacturing issue...something wrong is happening, and it will probably not just be for one LED.
