Problem with Parallax RFID reader

Hi,

I am using an Arduino to control a servo when it reads an approved code from an RFID card. For some reason, the reader doesn't read cards when the servo is plugged in (both are using 5v from the on-board regulator), but is is drawing power (its LED is on). If I unplug the servo, it works fine. I don't think the servo is drawing too much current because I used a multimeter and found that both the servo and the RFID reader draw about 80 mA each (and I believe the maximum current for the regulator is 900 mA) Can someone provide insight as to why this is happening and/or how to fix it? I am using a Parallax RFID reader: http://www.parallax.com/product/28140

Thanks

We can't comment on this post until you post your code. (use the "#" code tags button)

But the code is irrelevant; I know for sure it is not the problem. Why do I need to post it?

Well then you don't need our help. Just run the servo from a separate power source and if it works then you've solved your problem.
Your right about the max load for the arduino though, but since you are nowhere near that I don't see how it is relevant.
How about a schematic ? Is that irrelevant too ?
