Problem with password

Hello.
We are using an Arduino on a wooden model car track to capture the results.
The problem is - the developer of the program put the password on and suddenly died. We cannot access the program.
Is there any way to access this program without entering the password?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum

Whether you can run the program without a password depends on how it is written. Is there any chance of getting the code from the developer's PC ?

It sounds very inconvenient for a single person, the developer, needing to be present in order to run the program. How do you enter the password ?

I hope you did not pay the developer. Also did you do a proof of concept and a final test? Not knowing the password and putting it in operations is a big oops.

Hi, @shragde
Welcome to the forum.

To clarify;

  1. The Arduino, what model.
  2. It produces timing results?
  3. Does it interact via a screen at the controller or with a connected PC?
  4. Do you need the password to actually run and get readings?
  5. Can you please post an image of the project?

Very good question... :+1: :+1: :+1:

Thanks.. Tom.. :grinning: :+1: :coffee: :australia:
