Problem with the Capacitance Meter tutorial

Hi there!

I just tried duplicating the Capacitance Meter tutorial on the following page. The charge pin in the example can not provide enough current to light the LED and raise the voltage anywhere near the level it needs to be on the capacitor. The project doesn't work as it is on the page. However, changing the code to use pin 12 to charge the capacitor works just fine.

Maybe this is due to the board I have but it definetly threw me off for an hour or so and would be good to get fixed.

Thanks!
James

Which board are you using?

Ah, I'm using the Arduino NG with the LED on pin 13. I didn't realize that LED wasn't exactly standard on Arduino's!

I seriously need to get an updated version...

Thanks!
