Problem with uploading to the board - Linux Debian 9

Problem with uploading to the board - Linux Debian 9
Dear friend, I need your help.
I have a Sunfounder Crawling Quadruped Robot Kit for Arduino
On meimen laptop is as operating system Debian 9
User is in the groups: tty, dialout
My problem: upload to Sunfounder Mobile Robot Remote Controller.
I oriented myself exactly to the user manual.
But always get this message:
"avrdide" stl5 --_ getsync () attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp = 0x00
avrdude: stk500: programmer is not responding "
I have two options for serial ports. These are:
/ dev / ttySO and / dev / ttyUSBO.
Board is not shown under Debian 9 in my directory.
What am I doing wrong?
I am a beginner and do not know the whole matter yet.

Try selecting Tools > Processor > ATmega328P (Old Bootloader)

Sorry, no change.
Still get the same error message

Sorry! Linux will pick this up. Didn't mean to waste time or effort.
From Amazon customer reviews.

both of mine came with pl2303 usb/serial chips instead of the more common ftdi or ch340. you will need to install pl2303 drivers and if you go to the sunfounder website you will get the cd.zip file that includes the win7 (at least) driver and it worked fine after the install

SamCha:
Sorry, no change.
Still get the same error message

Did you also try Tools > Processor > ATmega328P?

Does the problem still occur if you remove the Nano from the remote control board before trying the upload?

Yes, it is Tools > Processor > ATmega328P

It looks like this was resolved in SamCha's other thread:
