Problem with using an Active Speaker and LED Strips

Hello  I am trying to make a Guitar Hero of sorts with arduino. To do this I am using 4LedStrips, 4 buttons and an active speaker. I already have the LedStrips and the speaker working individually. However, when I try to use the speaker and even a single LedStrip (as soon as I set the pin for it), the speaker's sound decreases in quality. The quality only decreases further the moreLedStrips I connect. I don't know how to solve this problem, please help :relaxed:

Unless you're using an audio shield to handle the audio, that kind of multitasking is probably impossible.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the post at the start of any forum , entitled "How to use this Forum".
OR
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html.
Then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

How are you powering your project?
What model Arduino are you using?

Thanks.. Tom...

Hi Tom. I am using an Arduino UNO, and powering it through the USB cable. I leave atached a copy of the circuit made as clear as possible. I have found that the code works when I use delays and the third parameter of tone(), but not when I use millis(). I will atach the code I'm using to test it in a different post.

Thank you, Eduardo
