Problema de comunicacion arduino nano- IDE

Hola amigos, estoy usando por pimera vez un arduino nano. al conectarlo a la pc me reconoce el puerto COM, tengo instalados los driver CH340 , pero cuando le doy cargar me devuelve el siguente error

Revisa el cable primero. use solo cable de datos, el cable de carga no funcionará.

Si no lo hiciste, debes seleccionar la opción "Atmega328 (old bootloader)" en submenú "Procesador", y por supuesto "Arduino Nano" en submenú "Placa".

También, como dice @b707, puede ser el cable (si lo anterior ya lo hiciste).
