hello, i just got the arduino uno, i run windows xp and im having some issues with it, the bootloader seems to work fine as it flashes the L-led normally, but i plugged it in and went to device manager to try and install the driver but the board only showed up as "unknown device", and it was not in the COM ports list it was in the USB controller list. i tried to use the .inf file to install the driver but it would only let me select the directory and not the file, and then any other time i've tried to plug it in it simply wont show up and i've tried to upload to all the com ports and nothing works. i honestly have no clue what the problem is. any input would be greatly appreciated.
