Hello everyone,
I'm new on this forum.
I'm not an Arduino “top specialist”, but I'm not a beginner either. I'm developing a project with the GigaDisplay shield and I'm encountering the same problem that some people have already reported on the forum: after running smoothly and perfectly for a few hours (with demo sketches or my own), the screen doesn't display anything except a green background with occasional fleeting black lines.
There's nothing else connected to the giga R1!
I can upload other sketches, that's ok, but still that green background! I've tried the touchscreen functions with the serial monitor and, in this case, touching the screen is detected. So there's a display problem!
I've noticed that the Giga card is heating up and, of course, this heat is being transmitted directly to the display. Could this be the cause of the malfunction?
I've read a lot of posts on the forum, but I haven't seen any solutions!
Has anyone found a way to solve this problem?
Thanks for sharing your experience!
