So this has been driving me crazy for over 3 days now.
I have an FTDI FT232RL connected to my PC and that has been wired to my ATmega8 which is on a breadboard. As far as I know, the wiring is correct, but for some reason I still get an error while trying to upload code to the microcontroller. I have uploaded code before with the exact same setup a few years back, but I don't remember anything about that anymore...
I'm using Windows 10, and while uploading the FTDI blinks maybe a few times, but code still doesn't upload. I've tried multiple USB cables, and the current one I'm using should be capable for this stuff.
Any ideas why it doesn't work?
