Problerm muscle sensor EMG a10-09

Hi I'm using an emg a10-09 to measure muscle of my forearm. I connected power and signal like picture below, the voltage of Vs+ to GND is 9V, Vs- to GND is -9V, Vs+ to Vs- is 18V. The problem is the analog input is not change when I close my hand, the analog signal always return 5,6 in any situations. I attached the electrodes properly, I changed to other position, I cleaned my skin as well but nothing change. It just return 5 and 6. I think the problem may be the electrode because it lost stickiness only after 2 times unstick and stick. Any ideas ,pls ? One more question, do you know is there any alternative method for this kind of project.

When the sensor is not connected to anything, what is the return value?

We are facing the same problem. Can you give some solutions of this problem?

@abdullah_bsee20037 - Your project is not made exactly like this project. Start your own topic so you receive responses to your problems with your project.

sorry for late reply. But its really 5,6. Sometime it return real good data but some time nothing return. This phenomenon is really weird and i've stuck with it for 2 months

Verify your Arduino is working... Using the same Analog Input pin, use this project and potentiometer sketch to verify your A0 pin is working:

If the Arduino is verified as good, the sensor (with electrode) is the problem.

Verify the sensor connections to the electrode are not broken (open circuit) or shorted (closed circuit). Try a new electrode and try a new sensor.
