processing.app.debug.RunnerException

Hello, I am a student that have found a problem when I try to verify a program. I am new in "ardunio world" but i asked my university teacher and he didn´t know also what the problem is. I just installed alright the IDE (I know that because i did exactly the same in my other computer and it works fine) but in my laptop it doesn´t work. I post the error here to see if anyone knows what the problem is or if you can help me know how can i solve it. Thanks a lot, any help is apreciated.

Does the file C:\Users\yuna1\Desktop\Arduino\arduino-builder.exe exist?

Sorry.

Yes it exist, in my other computer i had no problem. I think it may be some usb ports problem, but i have no idea.

Try downloading and installing the Arduino IDE again. If that doesn't work I have something else you can try.

I did it 5 times and it doesn´t work. I´ll try with older version and see if this works. What else should I try? Thanks a lot.

  • File > Preferences > Show verbose output during: > compilation (check) > OK
  • Sketch > Compile/Verify
  • After the compilation fails copy ALL the text from the black console window (you will probably need to scroll up to see the whole thing) and then paste it here using code tags. If it's longer than the forum will allow then attach it as a .txt file.

Hopefully this might give us some clues.
