'prog_char' does not name a type error

hello ALL
I'm new here I hope you can help me

I tried to create this programmer for pic with Arduino Ardpicprog: Circuit details for 14-bit PIC programmer
but when I tried to upload the sketch on the Arduino I have an error 'prog-char' does not name a type
this is the sketch Ardpicprog: ProgramPIC sketch
(I can not put it here because it is too long)

I'm new with Arduino hope to have your help

I suspect a search-and-replace changing "prog_" to "" will rectify the situation.

I would guess the file "pgmspace.h" defines "prog_char" which isn't a data type that Arduino knows about.

Do you have access to that file to include it?
