Program for 3 phase motor to control steering

Hi,

Iam doing a project in my college it is about self driving car i want to control steering with a Motor I need a code for that

For steering a RC servo motor may be applicable. Then you can use the Servo library.

You certainly need code, quite a lot of code. Prepare for work. Forum is no Santa sending it to You.

Hi, @pavansai57
publish your topic in : " Jobs and Paid Consultancy category "
there you will find your code, but prepare your pocket......

Second using a servo . If you google , there is using a car windscreen wiper motor as a servo , should do nicely

I guess your project should involve you doing the work

That motor is called a servo motor. And you also need a sensor to know the actual position of the wheels being turned. You also need a LOT of power to turn the wheels. The steering assist on my car is a servo that can draw up to 50 amps, so you also need a controller that can control up to a similar current.
Good luck with your project!

Do you have any program for that

Yes, it is kept in the car for daily use. It was created by the German company, Bosch. They have all the source code locked away, somewhere.

Can you please tell us your electronics, programming, arduino, hardware experience?

It sounds as if you are attempting a project that requires a very, very steep learning curve.

Have you programmed an Arduino before?

Thanks.. Tom... :+1: :coffee: :australia:
